TEACHING

Chloé teaches a wide range of ages with any ability in singing and she also teaches piano for beginners. She can prepare pupils for ABRSM exams and is fully DBS checked. She can arrange tuition at pupils’ homes or teach at her own home in South West London. Chloé is available for workshops or group music lessons. In addition she has experience of working with disabled and autistic children and is able to cater for their special needs.

In her lessons Chloé aims to treat no two voices the same and work on the tutee as an individual. Chloé works on technique issues and performance confidence, aiming to help her pupils compile an array of repertoire suitable to their level of ability.

From 2021-2023 Chloe worked as a teaching assistant at Falkner House Girls School in South Kensington where she helped run the junior and senior choir, whilst assisting with the day to day running of the classroom.

Whilst in her second year at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire she taught at Handsworth Girls Academy, helping girls who were musically talented to apply for places at Conservatoires around the country and aiding them with practice techniques and audition prep.  

In summer 2019 Chloé worked as an intern with the Birmingham Music Service for three weeks on their Birmingham Youth Proms. She welcomed 50 schools from across the West-Midlands to the Symphony Hall, where she helped prepare them for the concerts. During that time she worked with special needs schools helping them to adapt to performances in order to make them feel as comfortable and as happy as possible.

Chloé studied Pedagogy in her final two years at the Conservatoire.She studied German, Italian and French for four years with specialist coaches.
